I know I should post updates more often, but it’s so hard when I don’t have a lot of news to share. However, I have finished the final draft of the fourth book in the Alex Grosjean Adventures series, so that’s something, I guess? I’m now returning to work on the second book in the Children of Magic series, so writing is happening.
In the meantime, I made the decision to close my Patreon because I didn’t feel like I was giving it the attention it deserved. It’s already a lot to hold down a full-time job, make time for writing, and remember to post here and on social media. So I’m focusing my efforts on doing just those things.
In early October, I took a drive up the California coast from L.A. to San Francisco, and it was a much-needed vacation that involved a lot of beautiful scenery and great food. If you’re interested in seeing my experiences and photos, you can view it all here.
November will bring a few conventions, including a visit to Cape Con (I’ll be dressed as Hera Syndulla) and potentially Monster Con (but I’m getting tickets for a BTS Live Viewing that day, so probably won’t be in costume). Oh, yes, I’ve gone down the rabbit hole of BTS fandom and I’m officially ARMY now.
I’m also still working on my Mass Effect Commander Shepard armor build, now mostly out of spite because of EA closing BioWare. I’ve finished the torso and just started on the arm pieces. Here are a few progress photos:
The rest of the year is relatively quiet for now, but I’ll post updates as I have them. Until later…
